Muffins with Mom for Grade 1 on May 6....

A Message from Elementary Principal, Mr. Paul Jones......

Spring is upon us! Looks like the winter is winding down if not over. I know we are all getting excited about the weather being nicer and the temperatures improving. Our students and staff have worked very hard in preparing for our upcoming assessments, which run from April 5th through May 4th. As you can see our testing has diminished immensely since last year and will finish later, this is an advantage to what we experienced last year.

The end of the school year will be here before you know it, and as of right now we are on pace to finish the year on time. Provided we donít encounter many more weather related cancellations, North Central will end its school year on May 26th, and we will be releasing early that day at 1:00 pm. A reminder will be sent out prior to the last day of school.
Thank you to the community for being patient with parking while our new high school is being built. Because of the mild winter, the new school should be ready for students after Labor Day as scheduled. The old high school is scheduled to be razed in early June for those of you who may want to observe this historic part of the community give way to the new.

Once again it is time to think about Kindergarten Clinic. Kindergarten Clinic is scheduled for April 7th and 8th at the Pioneer Methodist Church. If you have a child or know of a child living within the North Central School District who is or will be 5 by September 30th, 2016, they can call the school and register for clinic with Julie Page at (419)737-2293.
Letís enjoy the rest of the school year and get ready for Summer. Thanks to all the parents, students, and community who make North Central an outstanding place to receive an education. Go EAGLES!!!

Yours in Education,

Paul Jones,
Elementary Principal
